Apartment - New York
If the view didn’t give it away, this apartment is in new york and resides in a building overlooking central park.
This client is honestly so fun to work with. I have had the opportunity to work with her on several of her homes, this one being one of my favorites.
oVERALL THE MOST IMPORTANT PART FOR THIS CLIENT WAS TO CREATE A SPACE that was WARM, INVITING AND SOPHISTICATED.
Living Room
this client and her husband ARE AVID ART COLLECTORS AND feel art is not to just be hung up on walls, but also the furniture itself should be art forms.
Between the original Jean royere set sits a guy de rougemont coffee table and accompanied by a wendell castle armchair. the husband also chose for a smaller vintage Ettore Sottsass desk to work at. and the room is accented with andre dUBREUIL SIDE TABLES AND A YONEL LEBOVICI FLOOR LAMP
Dining Room
aS THIS APARTMENT IS INTENDED FOR SHORT STAYS, THE CLIENT WANTED TO HAVE THE DINING ROOM SET UP MORE FOR A COMFORTABLE DINING EXPERIENCE RATHER THAN A FORMAL ONE.
We opted to create four small dining TABLES that could be pulled apart and moved as needed, AND place A CHANDELIER BY PHILIPPE HIQUILY overtop.
Entry
wITH A DOOR INSPIRED BY VILLA NECCHI AND WALLS BY nANCY LORENZ, THIS ENTRY IS A TRUE SHOW STOPPER.
Master Bedroom
in the master bedroom sits a bed by maria pergay between two custom night stands.
on top of those is a pair of roberto rida table lamps with custom japanese paper lampshades.
